As we continue to expand our global presence, we seek a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Director to lead our procurement team overseas and optimize our supply chain operations.

Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain operations, with a primary focus on managing the procurement team located overseas. This role requires a strategic leader who can streamline processes, ensure timely delivery of materials, maintain cost efficiency, and uphold the highest quality standards in all supply chain activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Management: Lead and manage the overseas procurement team to ensure the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and products.
  • Supplier Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, secure best-in-class materials, and ensure supplier performance aligns with company standards.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Design, implement, and optimize supply chain strategies that align with MakarttPro’s business goals, including cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
  • Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management processes to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and prevent stockouts.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics partners to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods from overseas suppliers to our distribution centers.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure all procured materials meet the company’s stringent quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction, mentorship, and support to the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage the supply chain budget, ensuring alignment with financial objectives and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and industry standards.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing overseas procurement teams.
  • Strong understanding of international procurement, logistics, and trade regulations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
  • Experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
